Before calling — try power cycling your equipment
Power off or unplug the device for at least 10 seconds, then turn it back on. This fixes the majority of reported issues, especially with PCs, routers, printers, and Wi-Fi equipment.
Do you work on Macs?
No. I work on Windows PCs only. If you’re unsure what you have, just ask.
Do you offer remote support?
Remote support may be available for repeat customers after an initial on-site or drop-off visit.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. This is an appointment-only service. No walk-ins. I'm often busy and I'm working from home, so I will not answer the door without an appointment.
Is data recovery guaranteed?
No. Data recovery is best-effort only. I’ll be upfront about what’s realistic once I see the system.
What should I tell you when I contact you?
What’s not working, what you’ve already tried, and whether this is drop-off or on-site. Including your Windows version (10 or 11) helps.
What I don’t do
To save time for both of us, here are a few things I don’t handle.
Do you repair laptop screens, motherboards, or internal electronics?
No. I don’t perform board-level repairs, soldering, or screen replacements. I focus on software, configuration, upgrades, and practical fixes. I do very little to no hardware diagnosis or repairs.
Do you work on Macs, iPhones, or tablets?
No. I provide support for Windows PCs only. But if your willing to pay the hourly fee to have me look at it, I will try to help where I can.
Do you offer emergency or after-hours service?
No. Service is provided Noon–8pm by appointment only. Will consider after-hours work on a case-by-case basis.
Can you guarantee data recovery or fix every issue?
No. Data recovery and troubleshooting are best-effort. I’ll be honest if something isn’t likely to be recoverable or worth the cost.
Do you resell hardware or software?
No. I don’t upsell equipment or software. I can recommend what to buy, but purchases are up to you.
